gets its power from a 2.7 liter Mercedes-Benz diesel engine. The
5-cylinder turbo-diesel is remarkably quiet, delivering both
consistent power and an estimated 17-19 mpg. An electronically
controlled automatic transmission and power rack-and-pinion steering
give the View excellent drivability and a tight turning radius.
Four-wheel ABS disc brakes with automatic skid control provide added
peace of mind on slippery roads. Getting in the View is a breeze
too, thanks to cab doors that open nearly 90 degrees.
